Taking the celebration futher. I liked the idea of creating it out of hundreds and thousands - so i just did a mock up using a photograph i found.

Wrapping Paper? An idea to extend beyond the celebration cards.
This is a happy anniversary card. I based it on the happy valentines day one, but made it more sophisticated by changing the red to black and having two ampersands together to represent the union of two people.
The top two have developed a bit - making it seem like the arms of the ampersand are part of the image - I changed the colour
from the holly to brown so it was like the stalk. I re did the heart one - so it seemed like the heart was less of an 'add on.'
Manipulating the Ampersand to create celebration cards. I quite like this idea - I think the balloon one works the best, as the arms from the ampersand acts as the string from the balloon whereas on the other ones they don't had anything to the image.
My concept is the Celebration of the Ampersand.
I do not want to use candles as media, but it is a start - I just wanted to get started on something and candles is something I own!

Fairy Lights.
