After looking through my last calendar, I decided that I was going to base my design on photography rather than illustrations - this is not really my forte. Here is a quick example of how I would do this. The calendar is about a celebration of the Ampersand and So I have select a celebration Holiday from each month and I am going to find ways to photograph and ampersand with something relating to that holiday.
January - New Year - Party Popper.
February - Pancake Day -pancake
March - Mothers Day
April - Easter - eggs
May - May Day -ribbon
June - Wimbeldon - Tennis Balls.
July - Fifa Final
August - Festivals
September - Blackpool Illuminations - Fairy Lights.
October - Halloween
November - Bonfire Night -sparklers
December Christmas - christmas decorations.
